Live Show: The Highly Anticipated Mouth Culture headline in Brighton, Uk.

On their current UK tour, East Midlands band Mouth Culture performed a sold-out show at Dust, Brighton. Packed into a tiny 200-cap venue, the energy was through the roof, opening with the smash hit On and On.
Blending genres of alternative pop-punk rock, the boys bring a new and authentic energy to the scene. With the fans showing up in full force, reinforcing their presence within alternative music and cementing their place as ones to watch.

After consistently selling out shows over the past couple of years, it’s clear why their momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon. From their electric stage presence, there was not one single person in the venue who stood still, the energy was contagious.

One of my favourite calmer moments during the set came from the emotionally charged melodic track Everyday when the audience slowed down for a moment, lighting up the room with torches, sharing embraces and climbing onto each others shoulders. It felt as though everyone collectively took in and acknowledged that the band they’ve loved was directly in front of them. Live music is one of the few places you can be completely immersed in the moment away from everyday life and this was a perfect example of that.
Closing the set with the undeniably catchy Don’t Pull Up the entire room descended into energy one last time.
With numerous festival appearances coming up over the summer, this is not a band you want to miss. Notably, Mouth Culture will be joining an array of hugely talented names at All Points East, a UK day-fest, with headliners Twenty One Pilots. Another major milestone proving just how far they’ve come.
